Our first visit to the Staples Center at Los Angeles was for the Clippers vs Lakers game. It was a Clippers home game as it was being played on the clipper's home court. The lakers home court is at the same place, except the floor mat reads lakers !
The staples centre is huge from inside. It has full fledged BOSE surround music system, the speakers are hanging from the roof truss. We got a cosy spot in one of the VIP suites, courtsey Shantaram uncle. The suite was pretty cool, it had a big TV, and a few small personal TVs, a couch and some bar stools, and an overhang facing the court where there were about 10 seats stepping towards the court. As we were first, we grabbed the front row seats.
The game was pretty boring(as lakers were losing), infact, both teams were playing equally worse in the beginning. Eventually, in the end the lakers played even worse, so the clippers won.
This was our first time in the Staples center and we had lots of fun. The atmosphere was fantastic and the dance performances by clipper girls were enchanting. I have posted a few pictures in the photo gallery. Do take a look if you get a chance.
